The Ministry of Information Society and Administration launched a consultative process of amendments to the Law on Public Sector Employees and the Law on Administrative Servants. Today's public discussion included presentation of the current state-of-affairs, challenges in implementation of these two laws, and proposals on aspects that need improvement.

The Ministry of Information Society and Administration hereby invites you to the public discussion on amendments to the Law on Public Sector Employees and the Law on Administrative Servants.

The public discussion will be held in the MP's Club, on April 15th 2019, at 11:00 o'clock.

The Minister of Information Society and Administration, Damjan Manchevski, co-chaired the Subcommittee on Innovation, Information Society and Social Policy in the European Commission. As Minister Manchevski noted, it is of great importance for North Macedonia to chair this subcommittee in this period. He focused his opening remarks on the state's progress in these areas.

Deputy Minister of Information Society and Administraton, Aleksandar Bajdevski, participated in the traditional celebration ceremony on the occasion of Customs Administration Day - April 14th.

The celebration ceremony included awards of plaques and commendations to organizations, individuals, customs officials and Customs Administration organizational units who significantly contributed to improvement of this institution in 2018.

The Deputy Minister of Information Society and Administration, Aleksandar Bajdevski, held a speech during the conference "Like Elections - Like Future", organized by CIVIL - Center for Freedom. The conference included presentation of findings, analyses and recommendations for the upcoming presidential elections.

Geneva, April 10th, 2019

The Minister of Information Society and Administration, Damjan Manchevski, addressed the attendees on the interactive session of high political representatives, organized as part of the largest World Summit on the Information Society held in Geneva, Switzerland.

Minister Manchevski focused on efforts of the Government of North Macedonia to develop digital economy, in the Western Balkans context.

Ohrid, April 6th, 2019

Deputy Minister of Information Society and Administration, Aleksandar Bajdevski and the MISA Advisor, BIljana Zhagar, participated in the 30th Trade Union School of the ALBCA Trade Union.

The event included discussions on what would amendments to the Law on Administrative Servants (LAS) produce, as well as on the Law on Public Sector Employees (LPSA), and the proposed Law on Senior Civil Service (LSCS).

The Minister of Information Society and Administration, Damjan Manchevski, addressed the attendees on the Ministerial Panel, during the second Western Balkans Digital Summit.

Belgrade, April 4th, 2019

Today, line ministers in charge of digitalization from the Western Balkans signed the regional Agreement on Roaming Price Reduction, during the Digital Summit in Belgrade, R. Serbia. This ensures continuous implementation of Digital Summit Conclusions.

Signatories of the Agreement agree that additional reduction of roaming prices is necessary to completely cover all end-users in the Western Balkans region.
