Gostivar high school obtains 800 PCs within project "Computer for Every Child"

In the framework of Government project "Computer for Every Child", 800 PCs were put into use Monday in the economics high school in Gostivar.
Minister for Information Society Ivo Ivanovski said Macedonia would become one of the most developed countries that use computers in the education process through the project.

"The project will put us on the map of high technology developed countries, and correlation student-computer will soon be 2:1", stated Ivanovski.
According to him, similar equipment would be installed in 11 high schools throughout Macedonia in the next three weeks. Moreover, computers will soon be installed in elementary schools.

The project has thus far encompassed 23 high schools throughout the country, with projected installment of 100,000 PCs.
