Mobility of employees in state administration

In accordance with the STRATEGY FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION REFORMS IN THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA (2010-2015), in function of better use of human resources and facilitation of employees’ mobility within administration, certain amendments and supplements were adopted to the Law on Civil Servants (“The Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia” No. 24/2012) and the Law on Public Servants (“The Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia” No. 24/2012).
These law amendments provide that employees in state administration bodies and institutions, in accordance with the Law on Civil Servants and the Law on Public Servants, have opportunity for mobility through a procedure determined in compliance with the aforementioned laws.
The Ministry of Information Society and Administration, having in mind its competences, supports state bodies and institutions in exchange of information on established state of each body or institution as concerns certain profile of employees, in order to enable their mobility. Institutions decide independently on proposals coming from the Ministry of Information Society and Administration in accordance with legal provisions stipulated by aforementioned laws.
