Minister Ivanovski awarded the ITU Silver Medal of Honor for Merits

The 2013 World Summit on Information Society, 14th to 16th May, has been concluded. It gathered the most influential organizations, companies and government ministers in the field of information and communication technologies.


The Summit was chaired by Macedonian Minister of information society and administration Ivo Ivanovski, who was awarded the Silver Medal of Honor for merits and contribution in the ITU development by Dr Hamadoun Touré, the Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).


The Summit was successfully concluded with adoption of all six conclusions that are supposed to make a bigger contribution for the information societies development.


ЗDuring his several day participation in the Conference, Minister Ivanovski had important bilateral meetings with prominent representatives of the international IT sector, and once again confirmed the place and role of the Republic of Macedonia on the world information map.
