First National Forum for Open Government Partnership

Skopje, 26th November 2014

Minister of Information Society and Administration Ivo Ivanovski has addressed The First National Forum for Open Government partnership emphasizing the activities which were taken, as Open Government Partnership is an essential part of cooperation between the Government and business community and also the civil organizations.

,,Since the first Action Plan the Government made seven commitments with measures that foster openness, transparency and accountability, which are basic values of The Declaration for Open Government Partnership. This process in large part helps the private sector and citizens in the sense that stimulates creation of new jobs as well as innovations.,, - said Minister Ivanovski.

After adopting the second Action Plan for Open Government Partnership, in June 2014, a working group was established for its implementation. The working group gives quarterly reports to the Government about the progress of the activities, as well as recommendations about the aspects given in the Declaration for Open Government Partnership.

Within the second Action Plan for Open Government Partnership, the civil association ,, Macedonian Center for International Cooperation“ publishes data on unique national electronic regulations registry ENER. The civil association monitors the public consultations which are organized during the processes of law drafting. This is a successful example of synergy between government institutions and civil organizations.
