Arsovska Tomovska at the European Conference on Public Administration in Luxembourg

Luxembourg, 1st of October 2015

More than 300 participants, the public administration representatives and members of the academic community from the different EU member states and abroad, attended at the 8th European Quality Conference (8QC) on 1st and 2nd October 2015 in Luxembourg, the country that holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Deputy Minister of Information Society and Administration Marta Arsovska Tomovska also participated in the conference.

 

During this event entitled ‘Strengthening the capacity of public administration in tackling current and future challenges – Public administration as part of the solution’, the participants had an opportunity to share their good practices and experiences. Administration modernisation, societal responsibility, fight against corruption, strengthening professionalism in building an innovative public administration, were among the main discussion topics.

 

Arsovska Tomovska participated in number of meetings with European officials exchanging views and opinions in this field; She also conveyed the Macedonian experience in the professionalization of public administration. The 8th European Quality Conference (8QC), organized in cooperation with EUPAN members and the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA), was opened by Dan Kersch, Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Reform of Luxembourg.
