Conclusions from the SG-PAR meeting between the EU and Macedonia

Skopje, 10th of October 2017

During the seventh meeting of the Special Group for Public Administration Reform (SG-PAR) between the European Union and the Republic of Macedonia, the parties agreed on conclusions related to: the strategic framework for public administration reform, policy development and coordination, public services and human resource management, public financial management, accountability and anticorruption, and institutional integration.

 

The European Commission welcomed the first positive steps taken by the Government to improve transparency and consultation with relevant stakeholders.

 

The parties agreed to continue working together on all issues related to public administration reform. The parties agreed that the finalization of the Public Administration Reform Strategy 2018-2022 and its Action Plan, as well as the Public Finance Management Program 2018-2021 are key short-term priorities.

 

The seventh meeting of the Special Group for Public Administration Reform took place on 20 September in Skopje.
